Gang Chen, associate professor and doctoral supervisor of Sun Yat-sen University’s Hundred Talents Program. He graduated from the Department of Computer Science at the Technical University of Munich. He received a Bachelor of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering, a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics (double degree), and a Master of Engineering in Control Science and Engineering from Xi’an Jiaotong University in 2008 and 2011. Mainly engaged in the research of robotic systems, computer architecture (for unmanned vehicles), embedded systems, etc. Published 40+ papers in domestic and foreign academic conferences and journals in related fields in the past 5 years, including top conferences in the field of embedded systems such as RTSS, DAC, DATE, EMSOFT, and top journals such as TC, TECS, TCAD, TODAES, etc. Published more than 15 papers (up to 90+ citations per paper, 5 CCF-A papers, 11 CCF-B papers). Won the IEEE ESTIMedia 2013 Best Paper Award. Instruct students to participate in the 2018 National University Bio-Networking Design Competition (TI Cup) Northeast Division Special Prize (ranking 1/54) and the National Division First Prize (ranking 13/120), won in the 16th National College Robot Competition in 2017 The first prize in the northern division and the first prize in the national division. In 2018, the 17th National College Robot Competition won the runner-up and special prize in the national division (rank 2/184). In terms of academic services, he served as the deputy editor of Journal of Circuits, Systems, and Computers (JCSC), the chairman of the program committee of the 15th National Embedded Systems Conference (ESTC 2017), and a member of the program committee of IIoT, ISORC and other international conferences .
